In quanta mechanics, we call these things observables. And i love the word observable, because it's all in the name, right? It's something that you can observe. The surprising thing about quanta mechanics is that mathematically you can show that some observables don't commute. Commutcommutativty: In mathematics, if you doa one times two, it's the same thing as two times one. Oll says there are multiple ways to look at quantum physics.
