Two characters from the ulster cycle of irish mythology are hanging off a giant boar's tusks in hell. The punishment for these people is this huge giant boar, which has an insatiable appetite and will just eat you for ever. And i think the reason they put that there is it was irish christianity trying to demonize previous pagan mythology. They're actually down in hell, hanging off a boar'stusks.
