Watching the Gas Balloon Fly
In 17 83, tens of thousands of parisians crowd together in the streets to watch jacques charles flight. Benjamin franklin writes about this moment, watching the hydrogen balloon dri higher and higher into the sky. There was a cense now then finally, real change was in the air. And the balloon seemed to symbolize itthe gas balloon ends its epic flight in a little village called ganes. It's burbowing a little bit. It's still full of gas. When the villagers see it, these is think it's a demon of some sort. So they attack it with pitchforks and flails. They actually tie it to the tail of a horse
