The Killer Line, Whomever You Are
This is our poem as individuals as well as as a group of readers. He's talking about how our distinguishing features are just slipping away in front of his gaze. So i see through all of that, because i'm the super poet. And then this killer line, your true soul and body appear before me. It's quite an opening, i think, and very arresting. I'm making you the individual reader. When i read it, as i say, when you read it, we are the poem.
