If it was a simple to say, a transwoman is a woman, then you wouldn't need the phrase transwoman. But when we're talking about a legal context, there needs to be a distinction. There's a reason why we separate bathrooms based on biological sex - different equipment. Women's bathrooms, female bathrooms have more stalls, and, in fact, no urinals. Men's rooms often, some of them have a trough, or whatever you'd call it. And then you also have te issue that biological females, men often don't feel safe around large men,. especially when they're deal dealing with private matters, or they just want to in privatewith other women.
