Older people have just adapted their current homes. It doesn't allow families to move because it's an added expense. So a lot of people are renovating or extending into their lots in their current homes, which isn't a all help in the housing crisis. And dare i say it should, capital gains be looked maybe, to free up so housing stock - where properties are just sat there emptya. But something has to be done to allow mobility within the housing ladder. Because if not, this so called crisis will just continue, and people will still want to buy. Those who do buy are still better off than rentin in most cases. Binuse will cost a living spiralling
