How to Handle a Deferred Start Date as a Law Student
If someone has been given a deferred start date or they later get one, what do you think is the best way to handle this going in as a law student? "I wouldn't call up the hiring partner and ask them for like the official line on it. I'm talking about somebody that you're comfortable with," she says. 'It's fine to kind of try to get that information' She also suggests being flexible: If what you want isn't available at this firm, it may not be available at other places either.
