What Is Lignite Coal?
P.E.A.T. is coal that has never gotten to a higher temperature than about around 100 degrees or so. Lignite, anthracite and sub-bitumous coal are the next three levels of coal found on earth. The goal in energy systems is to get down to almost zero CO2 emissions per kilowatt hour by 2050.
