The Phase Oriented Trauma Model Isn't Working for Complex Trauma
People with eight or nine diagnoses of a complex trauma patient were getting better completely within two or three years without any trauma processing. So we completely re-irointed our treatment towards treating the disorganized attachment and it was working. And so here's my association to it is often when someone has trauma, they come in and that's the content that they put forward. If you don't have this model in mind, then carefully working on the trauma would be naturally what you would be elicited to do by the patient. Or the therapist. Correct.
