Zambia's Tourism Industry After the COVID Pandemic
Zambia boasts of a wealth of natural assets such as waterfalls, lakes and rivers. In 2019, the tourism industry contributed close to $2 million to the GDP. Over 160 lodges and cans were shut down due to the fallout of the pandemic. As a result, over 7,000 people lost their jobs.
