I Skipped Over One Piece
In the u k, you do work experience when you're 16. My cousin worked at a graphic design studio in nottingham and i got on with him. I thinkthe exposure to that being an actual career was maybe what planted that seed. When i got to university, it just came weigh more naturally than anything id studied before. Another interesting observation, and hindsight, was, cin'd of you have this kind of competitive environment in a design school. That was a huge driver as well.
