What's the Worst Day of Harry's Life?
A chapter should open on a character's worse day. In this scene, vernon blames harry for his unhappiness. And we get to see that in this scene, and not at will agree with him. Because it's a middle grade fantasy story, rolling is not like dumping information about the world on us. The difference is wor learning with the characters wit the shell, learning cer verses trusting the reader to just go with it. That doesn't make it any less brilliant of a work.
