Climate Change Solutions Need to Be Cultural, Not Technological
If we are to limit the most catastrophic effects of climate change, we as a culture need to rethink how we view efficiency and energy use. Wealth is so much more of a factor in omissions than population. The richest half of the world emit 86% of global c o two emissions. North america emits teen times more than the average african. A united one billion states has a foot by almost 50%. Meat consumption per capita in the richest 15 countries is higher than in the poorest nations. Lowering recycling curves won't do much for wealthy nations when you talk about having fewer children.
