The Importance of Acting Quickly Before Artificial Intelligence
Some philosophy grad students should write a dissertation about how AI is pretending they're human. The thing I really think people need to do is act quickly before it becomes a business model. And so the big mistake we have with privacy, you know, not acting 20 years ago to regulate the collection of data from everybody until it became sort of the leading business model of the internet.
