The Role of Mythologies in the Psychology of American Identity
In the last third of this conversation we just basically take everything that we've talked about and learned so far and just kind of reflect on it. The first way i want to do this is just reflecting on how these myths sort of shape the american identity. So what role do you think these mythologies play in the psychology and the self-identity of most Americanans? There's there's so much to it because for centuries the u.s. population especially white America has been embroiled in these founding mythologies.
