How to Be a Better Artist

A university known to me has decided to eliminate its arts and humanities curriculum, focusing instead on more career focused coursework. I think one of the things my work has taught me over the years is that you can learn so much from looking at art. There are educational benefits we've already discussed. But also, there's well-being benefits. Combining looking at art with meditation or mindfulness or these contemplative practices. And just enriching our lives without people who were engaging with the arts.
