The implementation details has really evolved over time, so with it being a macro, you kind of need your surrounding macro. The way it would work is it just would create a buffer just in and like an agent. And then as more tags were sort of evaluated, it would prepend onto that buffer, just the HTML. It's reusing the stuff that's built into the standard lib by outputting just eex. Another layer on top of that is if you wanted to use it as your like phoenix templating engine, phoenix has a couple of like behaviors that you just need to like implement.
