The Virtue of Privilege in Education
According to Aristotle this is in a way the key virtue for educators. You don't fully develop the virtue of phronasis until your mid 20s at earliest and maybe even 30 or 35, he says. If I'm going to teach students things I have to have knowledge of that myself so that I can sort of actualize the potential for students to know that in themselves at the end of their lives.
