We needed outlets as black people, specifically black people west india people, to express ourselves. I remember being a little girl, an going out to the park and seeing k r s ine,. And now it was just like, where were losing access to these things that made us what we are? Is this changin a little bit? i definitely think i'm seeing it more open. It's always been a thing though, like at the end of the day, i feel like it's always beenA queer world, regardless whether people want to really embrace it or embody it or it'sAlways been alive. But now we're seeing a lot more visible queer people.
