The Unoptimized Bits of the Grid

The grid is the largest machine in the world that doesn't get optimized for utilization. We have allowed the utilization of our grid and our system to go from probably 70% utilization back in the pre-air conditioning days of the 1970s to about 40% utilization today. And it is time for us to start optimizing for capacity utilization.
