When you watch a film, like I was recently watching Annie, the musical with my daughter, she's four and Annie is not a person. Like if you really watch Annie, Annie is the soul. And in Annie's case, she's perfect. She's always optimistic, even though she's a poor orphan living in an orphanage surrounded by poverty With no hope for ever finding her parents.
