How to Write a Song
I started playing drums for a group on word records called Shert Brothers back in the day. After I got out of high school, I had an offer to go to New York and act but my dad grabbed me and said, you're not going to New York. And so that was the end of my acting career. So I went on the road with a Christian group and started playing drums and then moved over to piano. That was when I wrote my first song. My first song was a song called Song for the Heart and it was a title track of their album. And from there started writing. At 16 is when you've got the four track, you're talking about recording.
