Afrikana Philosophy - A Brief History

The transatlantic slave trade brought Africans to the Americas in large numbers, from the 16th to the 19th centuries. The astute listener will have noticed that according to what we've said so far, Afrikana philosophy would include a lot of what the podcast has already covered. Quite a number of thinkers dealt with in previous episodes lived in Africa for all or part of their lives. We too will discuss the philosophical dimension of King's work as a thinker and leader in an episode of this series.
