Intermittent Fasting and the Ketones

When we're metabolically flexible, our brain feels amazing on ketones. When I'm fasting, my body is able to flip that metabolic switch and I produce ketones. So that really keeps your brain sharp. It helps your mood. There's research into ketones and mood and the psychological effects of having more ketones in the brain. That tends to be a very good thing for most of us. If everybody just drank plain water and black coffee and plain tea throughout the day, if you just stop with the constant mouth entertainment from these flavors, I really think we would see a sudden change.
