What History Tells Us About Human Nature
Science is advanced now to the stage where you can have a much more accurate and sophisticated understanding of what our species history was really like. It turns out that early human populations were far more conscious of alternative social possibilities than we are today. To change the way that we live is not some deviation from who we are and what we've done, but it's more a sort of the rule of history. That reminds me of something else that you talk about actually, too, the three fundamental freedoms. This is what makes possible those great culture areas, those kind of hospitality zons that i was describing before the creation of cities and after.
