What Gives Me Hope?
I feel like there is a collective waking up that's happening right now with waking up to how dire things are but also the opportunity and the need for things to change. I describe myself as an optimist but I also hold deeply the grave realities of these times that we live in. The way that we have been living is a choice it is not inevitable. It feels like many of us have been living in the trance of the religion of capitalism of the the Trance of the white supremacy and patriarchy. There is a certain amount of that trance starting to dissipate for many people which is just the beginning of the kind of transformation that we need.
