The Future of Programming

Statically typed languages are so intertwined into programming that the benefits are overwhelming, overwhelming. You can specify types when you want to and leave them out when it just gets too hard to figure out what that type would be. The improvements that have been made in the typing systems for Python have just been so pleasant. I don't see us going back to dynamically typed languages ever.
