The Power of Intersectionality
The trope of the angry black woman is real. And so even though black women may exercise that power and maybe if you're given sort of the expectation of it, when it actually happens, I've seen personally that you've penalized for it because you're not supposed to be that when you're aggressive, you're angry. So I think again, that intersectionality kind of clouds what sometimes what the research says when it actually gets into practice.
