As a children's author, do you find it easy to remember what it was like to be child? I have such vivid memories of being a child. Anme aske me what i was doing five years ago, and i draw a complete blank. But i can still remember conversations, feelings, even nightmares that i had as a child. And that is so useful, because although childhood itself has changed, and attitudes to have changed, emotions haven't changed. It's easy enough to put myself in a child's shoes when i'm writing,.
