The U.S. doesn't need to learn a ton of lessons there because we are such a big country and we have such bountiful natural resources that we've basically been stress tested as much as we can conceivably be stress tested by this super abundance of wealth. I guess one last thing that i want to write about which is an interesting political phenomenon is the change in the role of residential real estate price appreciation in politics.
