The Virtue Ethics of Aristotle
Without this inclination toward the good of others, like maybe the Aristotelian virtue ethics does become a little too egoistic. It's not just that morally speaking, we ought to will others goods. It's that there is within our willing, like something that does like stretch out beyond ourselves. And so it really is possible to love God for God's own sake and not for the sake of the good things he gives us.
