Roman Concrete Is Resilient, Right?
The Parthenon in Rome has stood for centuries over a thousand years. Roman concrete is so much more resilient than modern concrete, right? If you ever see concrete with big cracks in it, it looks like it's crumbling away. The researchers think they finally figured out what they did that made the concrete not only really strong without any rebar or reinforcement to it, but it heals itself.
