In August 96, Merrill and Yinka took over the leadership of a broken Pentecostal church in Hong Kong. They called it fast because that's what you do; 99% had never missed a meal. One guy comes to me afterwards, Yinka, and he says to me, man, this is amazing. I'm so delighted. We Americans don't fast. We love our food. So I feel very encouraged. Comes the weekend,. He's not at one meeting. In fact, he doesn't fast. The first was Land of the Year in August 96, when we moved here from Hong Kong.
