Gertrude perkins was raped by two police officers in montgomery, Alabama. The rape allegation led to a rare grand jury hearing, but the case never went to trial. Sandra arrington says her mother's parents had raised gertrude fear no one. And she has much to do with the bus boy boycotts of 19 55 and 56.
