How Did You Start Programming When You Were Young?

I don't come from a programming family. I can remember the high school teacher saying about halfway through the semester that I officially now knew more than she did on computers. Early in my career, I didn't have a lot of guidance. And particularly like a lot of young people is trying to write games or video games. On our little Commodore 64 is trying to do some 3D stuff. He used to joke that he was a software developer pretending to be an electrical engineer because he just love the software part.
