In Kenya, you know, there was no such thing as cognitive science. So I guess the natural direction was to just keep staying in the US. And so I've been there till today. It's interesting that your identity keeps getting formed constantly because you have my kang and nests and then this kind of American nests. You don't ever get to a point where you're like, okay, this is my kind of stable identity," she says.
