"When you have sentient beings and they are oppressed or people as well, none of us are free then," he says. "If you don't believe that animals have emotions, please read Charles Darwin who did a complete book on this in the 1800s about the emotions of animals and humans." 'I want people to understand this to the extent that it's possible when you have an oppressed party,' Cromwell adds. "'Anything that is living, breathing has family, has family communications, has sentiment' I'm not saying everyone will agree with me but we're going to come right back to how many times you've been arrested,'" his wife asks him.
