How to Write a Book for a Reader
With the second book with sisters brothers, I was considering plot more. My belief at that point in time was that plot was not particularly interesting or necessary and that books should be about something else other than the contrived storyline. But here I was writing a Western and Westerns have to have stories. The basic project of writing a book for a reader is to make the reader want to keep turning the pages.
