The Battle of Britain
There was heavy air activity on the first and carrying on into november, including daylight fighter activity. The battle of britain did exist init i mean, there was a concentrated attempt by the germans to win air sepurity espemasy over southeast england. But our air fired a command, through no fault of fight, a command were were nowhere to be seen. They didn't get off the ground. There was a failure in probably in in the radar system, in that the raid wasn't detected. So really a, you could argue that quite strongly, that the battle ofbritain started on the fourth july.
