In the natural world, you have cycles of generation and degeneration. In an inverted economy, we see that consumption is brought forward before consumption. We become obsessed with this idea that we're not only temporally exceptional, but we're constantly just piercing through reality itself. And then when you get into something like the rate of interest in a natural economy, your rate of interest, if you had one, would be a function of the material prosperity from the earth.
