How to Slow Down and Interact More With Students
I really like that example of slowing down and interacting more. I think especially when you're talking here about English language learners or young students, zeroing in on the intrinsic cognitive load so that we're helping them make those connections. Another one of your tips is to do the same thing every day. Now, as you know, I am a huge proponent of finding things that work well for students and then repeating them over and over with slight variations because it's likely to get better learning outcomes.
