How to Cope With Stimulation
Tourette's is an entirely different thing, but I will tell you that they've had great success with dietary control of Tourette's. We're never going to take away a coping mechanism without replacing it with something that works better. For instance, kids are doing something because it feels good, because it gives attention and because they don't have another way of communicating. So in the case of crashing into other children, we would want to give them a different way of coping with being around kids. And once kids are taught these things as a way of connecting with other kids, then those behaviors of crashing stop.
