Is There a Long-Term Mentality in Relationships?

I think people are really like really detached from reality right now to a point that it's almost like an extreme. It's always like people talking about the future as if the future is going to be great, but they're not really living now necessarily to get that thing. I personally don't want to deal with people when it comes to like relationships who have that type of mentality and just live for today.
