The Asymmetrical Relationship Between Rwanda and China

Rwanda, a very small state, punching above its weight for worse in this case rather than better to pursue its foreign policy goals in a much larger neighboring country. And so, I think that the relationship is really important, but maybe not being done enough is in the context of China's Belt and Road Initiative. Often, the small states involved can engage with these infrastructure investments and they have ways in which they can hold out hard bargains with China.
