The committee considered a contempt of congressote for former white house chief of staff and former republican member of congress, mark meadows. Wiz chatey, representative from wyoming and vice chair the committee, read aloud text messages that meadows had sent and received a from a wide variety of people as it was under attack. One text mister meadows received said, qote, we are under siege here at the capital. A third, in all caps, told them to go home.
