The Arguments for the Existence of God Do Not Prove Anything

Four generations of prominent thinkers all reach the same conclusion. David hume, arthur schopenhauer, emanuel cant and Sor in kerkegart agree that we cannot prove the existence of god or the truth of ligion. The best that we can do is take on faith some fundamental regulative ideas to make sense of our apparent world. But only some sort of religious commitment can really give meaning to life.
