Negotiation Is a Tool of Mutual Understanding, Right?

When you use fairness or criteria as a sword and a shield, it's pretty effective. No one wants to be the person who is administering unfair treatment. I think something more, when we say negotiation, we're talking about healthy conversations about power, self-worth, and how to navigate existing inequality.
