The Animal Nature of Pinocchio

The character of the monkey is really fascinating because he's bothered by this child excitement of Pinocchio. And what that monkey is going to represent is the animal part of our consciousness, you know, the inner aspect of that, like the animal nature. He's very much tending to that lower ego who is his master, and we see this through the spiritual process when we're starting to awaken up. When we don't actually incorporate the lower parts of ourselves with the higher journey, it's going to attack any kind of springing up of thisChildlike consciousness in the inner child.
