Lawrence and larry put several million dollars on the line, shorting beezer. If their bet was right, the pay off would be at least five fold. They remained very bullish, believing the real estate market was bound to keep going up. The people in the mortgage ment agreed, as did most of the traders on the floor. And leman's revenues seemed to reinforce their opinion.
