Fasting Is the Best Way to Express Our Hunger to God
Fasting is the best way i know to express that kind of hunger for god himself and for god to move in our life. We had a debate as a teaching team, last week, over this very simple question, does god hear us better when we're hungry and at first past? I can't help but think of god through the prophet jeremiah, chapter 20 nineqote, you will call on me and come and pray to me, and i will listen to you. You will seek me and find me. When you seek me with all your heart, there is something about the seeking and the finding that god finds value in.
